What is Zeel’s Medical Massage Program for Veterans?
The United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is an agency of the federal government that provides benefits, healthcare, and other services to military Veterans. Zeel is proud to be a member of the VA’s Community Care Network, providing in-network medical massage therapy covered by a Veteran’s VA benefits.
A VA massage referral includes a series of treatments over a designated period. Typically, this means 12 treatments in 45 days (for an acute condition) or 12 treatments over 365 days (for a chronic condition).
Massage therapists in this program treat each Veteran for the full duration of their referral. The therapist works closely with him or her, helping set recovery goals, monitoring their process, and submitting clinical notes for each appointment. This is a rare and rewarding opportunity for therapists to provide dedicated care to those who have selflessly served their country.

Therapist Requirements
- State-issued massage license or certification in good standing
- Professional liability insurance with a minimum of $1M per occurrence and $3M aggregate coverage
- Verified National Provider Identification (NPI) number (if you do not have one, Zeel can provide guidance on this free and quick process)
- Smartphone required to accept appointments (iPhone 4s or newer; Android 4.0.3 or newer); phone must be lockable via password or biometric identification
- Commitment to exceptional patient care, professional integrity, and time management
- Must speak, understand, and write English fluently
